Our training programs are intended specifically for those individuals seeking a successful career as an automotive of heavy truck/equipment union technician. The Automotive Technology Apprenticeship and Diesel Power Apprenticeship Programs follow ASE Education Foundation guidelines with major industry training resources and ASE certified Instructors with real world experience. Students attend one day per week on campus for Instructor-led classroom and hands on lab instruction. The program provides assistance for intended for full time employment in a Local 701 shop/dealership following the initial introductory and evaluation courses.

Mission Statement

The Fund will provide the highest quality education and training to up-and-coming mechanics. The Fund will develop and maintain state-of-the-art industry educational programs that will ensure students and employees have the requisite knowledge and skills to repair vehicles and equipment throughout the industries supporting the Fund.
