Are students employed in a shop or dealership immediately?

Applicants accepted into the Mechanics’ Local 701 Training Programs are not automatically assigned to an employer. At the conclusion of the initial 11 week Introduction to Industry education and evaluation courses, students are matched to employers with open positions based on mechanical aptitude, academic achievement, and commute time.The training program assists in this process and does not place or gaurantee employment.
